We’ve distributed over 60 medicine kits to groups and individuals in our network in San Juan, Arecibo, Rincón, Mayagüez, San Sebastian, and Vieques. We held weekly healing circles for over a month after the storm, now scheduling by request while we re-design the circles for a long-term recovery. We’ve held two workshops on “natural medicine” of relationship-building and are now designing a crisis-fatigue workshop for organizers. We’re also developing a informal practice spaces (El MOVIMIENTO/el proceso) where folks come together to engage in transformation, reflection and action in a supportive healing arts space.
