Linking Together
ONUS Chain navigates the black experience of trying to metabolize fear and anger into action and creation.
Utilizing vulnerable yet masterfully layered rhymes and a creative reimagining of the vehicle with which to perform them, ONUS is a vehicle of testimony and nation-building.
How do we unite and become that which we deserve?
Through an intimate live performance and a workshop that bookends the show, ONUS creates a conduit: plugging the listener directly in Mic Write’s turmoil/triumph, allowing the listener to not only engage with the lyrics but build their own unique Chain.
