Affect’s mission is to catalyze social change through education, connection, and collaboration. We amplify multiply-marginalized folx working in, designing for, and creating social change, with a strong focus on accessibility.
Previously, we ran Affect Conf, an annual community conference in Portland, Oregon with both talks and group volunteering. Now, Affect has transitioned into media campaigns and pop-up events, with the first being Disabled And Here, a portrait series and stock photography project celebrating disabled BIPOC across the Pacific Northwest.
