The Consentful Tech Project is gearing up to offer an intensive 6-8 week UX/UI design training! It will be based in popular education, design justice, and consentful tech. The program is meant to be a free/low-cost alternative to so-called “bootcamp” programs centered around the Silicon Valley-style approach to technology design, and will prioritize participants who are marginalized by the tech sector and conventional design education. Let’s build safer tech for our communities!
We’re currently in the planning phase of this work, and are seeking your help in better understanding what’s needed! If you have 5-10 minutes, please send us your thoughts by filling out this survey.
Read the zine
Building Consentful Tech is a 28-page zine that provides a framework for thinking about and making technology that is embedded with consent.
