The Allied Media Conference is a slow-cooked stew. Here in Detroit, the cold has crept in, reminding us that it’s time to start chopping up the AMC ingredients and set them to simmer. Here are three good ways to start your AMC2013 prep today!
AMC2012 Reflection Survey Summary
We received 247 responses to our post-AMC2012 reflection survey. That is a more than 10% response rate from the nearly 2,000 people who gathered at the AMC. Read on for a report on the results!
New features for AMC2012
Next month we will welcome thousands of people working to build a more just, creative and collaborative world to the 14th annual Allied Media Conference, June 28 - July 1 in Detroit, Michigan. Conference organizers have been hard at work making this year's AMC the best ever, implementing new features in response to feedback following the last AMC.
Results from the pre-AMC2012 survey
"I want to learn to create, to be visionary, to think differently, to collaborate, to tell stories and to listen really, really well."
Over the past 13 years, the Allied Media Conference has grown and transformed significantly. We describe our work as conference organizers through the metaphor of earthworms cultivating healthy soil. We identify the right balance of nutrients (workshops, strategy sessions, dance parties, etc.) out of which annual cycles of media-based organizing can grow and flourish.
